Moira Community Leadership Program, funded under the Community Recovery Hubs Program (HUBS) is developed in response to the October 2022 Flood event, aims to enhance community resilience and preparedness. The Program focusses on equipping community members with the leadership skills necessary to navigate and mitigate the impacts of emergencies, thereby fostering cohesion and resilience for future challenges.

The Program is designed to help new, emerging, and existing community leaders who are 18-years and over to develop their personal leadership skills, create new personal and professional networks, and learn about local government.

The program offers a free opportunity to develop leadership skills and build upon existing ones that participants can use in their professional and personal lives.
