Moira Shire has welcomed 28 new Australian citizens at a ceremony held at the Cobram Civic Centre on Thursday 7 May.
Moira Shire Council has lodged a formal submission to the Murray Darling Basin Authority's 2026 Basin Plan Review, urging decision-makers to place greater weight on the real and lasting economic harm experienced by irrigation-dependent communities like those across northern Victoria.

Every third Sunday at the Yarrawonga Showgrounds, we host our monthly market. Gold coin for adults to enter and money raised goes back to supporting our local community through programs including our school supports program. Rotary run a BBQ in the Pavilion where you can get freshly cooked food.
