The Strathmerton Community Plan 2024 - 2029 has been completed!

The Strathmerton Community Steering Committee achieved a number of goals since their inception, including:

  • lobbying for a speed limit of 60km/h through the township;
  • a beautiful walking track named in honour of Mick Cleary;
  • 1000's of trees planted for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Tree Planting Project;
  • community events such as 'The Charge of Beersheba' celebrating local war hero Brigadier Sir Murray Bourchier;
  • the colourful Lion's Park mural by artist Tiarne Hall; and
  • a community garden at St Aidan's Op Shop.
