At our community Wildlife Information Session you will learn how to recognise our common native species, know when they need assistance or to come into care and what to do to give them the best chance of recovery.

We will discuss the risks involved in rescuing and transporting injured wildlife and how to safely assess and contain and animal without inducing further stress or trauma.

These sessions are desifned to engage communitty members in wildlife rescue by providing some basic knowledge and skills needed to start helping with native animal rescue and emergency transport to a nominated vet or wildlife shelter.

As a "Community Wildlife Rescue Volunteer" you will give the animal the best chance of survival.

This session is suitable for those who would like to assist native wildlife on a "need to" basis but could also lead to becoming a wildlife rescue volunteer.
