A new footpath will be constructed on the east side of Derry Drive Yarrawonga, from the Murray valley Highway to the park.

Originally, the new footpath was to be installed through to Witt St but there is an electrical pillar that sits above ground and in the middle of the proposed new footpath.  The pillar is a PowerCor asset with the only option being to relocate it by a few metres towards the road and remove the established nature strip tree. The cost to do this was substantial and exceeded our budget.  We decided not to proceed with this section at this time and we will look at taking the path to the west side of Derry Drive up to Witt Street in future programs.
