New Footpath Investment Program
Moira Shire Council allocates an annual budget each year to construct missing link footpaths across the Shire.
Our highest priority is to construct footpaths that provide reasonable pedestrian routes between residential areas and towns’ CBD, hospitals and health services, childcare centres, kindergartens and schools, aged care facilities, disability services, playgrounds, and other recreational facilities and tourist attractions.
Prior to 2021/22 Council's budget for new footpaths was $150,000 per year.
In 2021/22, Council increased the annual budget to $250,000 per year.
