The Barmah Forest Heritage and Education Centre (BFHEC) is calling for expressions of interest from individuals and community groups looking to utilise this incredible space for various activities, displays and events.
Located in the heart of Nathalia, the BFHEC offers a versatile and well-equipped facility suitable for a wide range of purposes. Whether you are planning a workshop, meetings, classes, exhibitions, or any other community-driven activity, our venue can cater to your needs.
Spacious and adaptable rooms are available including large theatre style room, mezzanine with display boards and sections throughout the Centre as agreed on a case by case basis.
Key features of the BFHEC that make it an ideal space:
- The BFHEC boasts a variety of spaces, ensuring that we can accommodate both large and intimate gatherings.
- Unique and heritage bound: The displays and information located within the Centre are full of history and educational material. This can be the perfect backdrop for historical pieces or a beautiful contrast to display modern artwork.
- Convenient location: Situated in a central location, the BFHEC is easily accessible by the public, houses a Visitor Information Centre within it to promote the Centre to visitors to our region, and has ample parking facilities available.
- Stunning surroundings: In addition to the well-appointed indoor spaces, our center is surrounded by picturesque grounds, creating a pleasant and inspiring environment for all participants.
If you or your community group are interested in utilising the BFHEC for your upcoming events, displays, activities, or something else, we invite you to submit an expression of interest.
Please provide a brief overview of your proposed use, the desired dates and timeframes, and any special requirements you may have.
The assessment of Expression of Interests will be taken on a case by case basis as per the requirements of the Centre and feasibility of the agreement. The Tourism team will make contact with all submitted Expressions of Interests following the application closure date listed, detailing the next steps of the process, and further assessment may be required.
