All Abilities Talent Show back for another spectacular performance

After the tremendous success of the inaugural event, Moira Shire Council is thrilled to announce the return of the All Abilities Talent Show in 2024, promising an event bigger celebration of local talent.

Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM is inviting community members to get involved and be part of the fun.

“The 2023 All Abilities Talent Show was a highlight of the year – with 17 acts showcasing a range of talents, from singing and dancing, to instrumental performances, the crowd couldn’t help but sing, clap and dance along,” said Dr Emonson.

"We're eagerly anticipating more of our local talent taking to the stage in 2024! Expressions of interest for participants are now open, and given the popularity of last year's event, we encourage everyone to apply early."

The All Abilities Talent Show is the vision of Council’s All Abilities Advisory Committee member, Georgie Tomlin, who wanted to create an inclusive event where all community members could showcase their talents. The event underscores the importance of providing opportunities for everyone.

Scheduled to coincide with International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the 2024 All Abilities Talent Show will be held on Friday 6 December at the Cobram Civic Centre. This day is dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding the rights and wellbeing of people living with disabilities.
