Cultural Diversity Week is an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrating our cultural and linguistic diversity.

Mayor Libro Mustica said multiculturalism was a core part of the identity, character and way of life in Moira Shire.

“Coming originally from Italy, I know as well as anyone Moira Shire is a home to people from all corners of the world, and where anyone can contribute and belong,” Cr Mustica said.

“Every year in March we bring communities together to celebrate our diversity.

“We are excited to share our plans for Cultural Diversity Week with this year’s theme being ‘Connecting through culture’.

“Activities including sharing culture through food, music, traditional and multi-faith celebrations will all be on offer.”
