Outdoor gym equipment – thanks to drought funding

Statement by General Manager Corporate Simon Rennie
“The first project has been completed using part of the $1 million drought funding from the Federal Government.
“The development of a permanent outdoor gym at the Nathalia parklands is a wonderful addition to the area and has received overwhelming support from the community.
“This project cost $40,000 and involved the installation of various static exercise equipment targeting cardio, weight bearing and balance skills.
“We look forward to completing more projects nominated under the drought funding program.
“This funding has made an enormous amount of difference and has allowed us to undertake and complete projects now, instead of them being put into our ‘wish list’.”
