Moira Shire Council is inviting expressions of interest for the design and construction of the Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium.

This is a significant milestone following Council’s affirmed commitment to this flagship project for the Yarrawonga community.

The Multisport Stadium will offer an exciting new facility for year-round participation in sports and activities, catering to all ages, abilities, and interests. The initial construction will feature a modern two-court facility supporting basketball, netball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, futsal, fitness classes, and various community activities.

Moira Shire Council’s Chair Administrator, Dr Graeme Emonson PSM, expressed his enthusiasm in announcing this major milestone for the Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium.

“This project is a significant step forward in enhancing our community’s recreational facilities. The successful tenderer will help Council create a state-of-the-art venue for all to enjoy,” said Chair Administrator Emonson.

“The expression of interest for the design and construction of the Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium is an important milestone in moving this significant project forward.”

Organisations are invited to provide their design and construction proposals within an expression of interest submission for Council’s consideration and evaluation. Submissions close on 14 August 2024.
