Tri State Games 2023 Leaves Lasting Impact on Moira Shire
The recently concluded Tri State Games proved to be an extraordinary event, leaving a lasting impact on Moira Shire.
John Tanner AM, Chair Administrator of Moira Shire Council, expressed gratitude and reflected on the success of the week-long competition.
“It is with immense pride that I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Tri State Games for entrusting us with the honour of hosting this exceptional event," said Mr Tanner.
“The palpable energy and enthusiasm brought by over 250 participants added immeasurable vibrancy to our community."
Mr Tanner acknowledged the collaborative efforts behind the scenes, saying, "The dedicated organising committee, comprising the Berrigan Shire, PALs, Valley Sport, YMCA, and Barooga Sporties, along with our Moira team, worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the Tri State Games."
Expressing gratitude to local volunteers, Mr Tanner stated, "To our local volunteers who gave up their time to make the games possible, your tireless dedication has not gone unnoticed. We could not do it without you, and we all thank you very much."
Mr Tanner shared his hopes for the future, saying, "It goes without saying that we eagerly anticipate future opportunities to collaborate with the Tri State Games for potential hosting ventures”.
