Termites

The entire Moira Shire is subject to Termite infestation. This means that all new buildings or building works will require the installation of a Termite barrier and provision for ongoing maintenance.

Existing buildings will not be required to retrofit a termite barrier. Existing building owners should instigate regular checks of their property.

If termite activity is discovered avoid disturbing the termites, contact a pest control contractor to arrange an inspection.
