What is building?

Building work is work associated with the construction, renovation, improvement, demolition or maintenance of a building.

A Building Surveyor provides independent oversight of buildings and building work by conducting mandatory inspections throughout the construction process, and upon completion of construction ensure that buildings are safe for use, accessible and energy efficient.
