Christmas Closure

Moira Shire Council offices will close from 1pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024, and reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025. The Yarrawonga Service Centre will reopen on Monday 6 January 2025.

Our Resource Recovery Centres and Cobram Landfill will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Number of animals allowed

The Local Law stipulates restrictions in numbers of dogs and cats that are allowed on a property.

No person may without a permit, keep more than two dogs or two cats on any property in a residential area or commercial area, or on any property in a rural area which comprises less than eight hectares.
